Daylite 3.15 – Update for LION

Daylite 3.15 has been finalized and is scheduled to be released in the next 24-48 hours. Here is a list of enhancements

Daylite

• Daylite will warn the user if the offline being used is overdue for a sync.

• If automatic background sync has been disabled, then this will be indicated in the offline sync status message in the main window. • Daylite will automatically detect if its location on the disk has been changed and update the offline sync mechanism, so that background syncs continue to occur. • If the current backup path is invalid, then the default backup path will be used for creating backups during database updates. • Added a new Daylite Teacher template. This template helps teaching professionals to understand how they can customize and use Daylite in their profession to achieve their goals and objectives.

Daylite Server Admin

• If the current backup path is invalid, then the default backup path will be used for creating backups during database updates.

Bug Fixes

Daylite

• Fixed issue where Daylite was not reporting when an offline database was reset and needed to be re-created. • Fixed issue where importing vCards was causing a crash. • Fixed issue where Mail would not open and compose a new message when an email address is clicked. • Fixed issue where entering a title after stopping the task timer was causing a crash. • Fixed issue with Auto-Dialer crashes. • Fixed issue with preference pane crashes. • Fixed crashes in few sample databases. • Fixed issue causing comments on new line items not being saved.

Daylite Server Admin

• Fixed issue with Touch Sync on Lion OS. • Fixed issue with Daylite Server Admin concerning the resume feature on Lion OS.

Daylite Mail Integration

• Dropped support for collapsed conversation view in Mail for Daylite Mail Integration (DMI). The only way to use DMI is expanded conversation view while selecting 1 email at a time and non-conversation view.
